Hey all,
Still building the car, but this is what I have to tune it with once it all goes together.
I'm not tuning it myself, it will be professionally tuned, but would love some feedback and experiences people have had with this ecu on an mx5 (specifically na8 if anyone has)
Thanks
Anyone Used a Greddy Emanage Blue on there turbo 5?

Charlie please respond!
I want to know if i should sell this to someone with mild mods (like an NA car to gain some power) and buy a mspnp or something like that or if i will be able to get good performance out of this...
thnx

Find a tuner ask them what they like to use, or it will just cost you extra and you wont be happy with the end result, if you can't find somebody that has tuned a turbo mx5 with an e-mange then sell it and go with a trusted tuner, and get what they want to tune with.
If in your travels you find a tuner with 1.6l Autorotor tuning experience please let me know.

Im currently running the emanage with a small td04 turbo and 330cc injectors. The problem with the blue is that you cannot subtract fuel so I'm seeing AFRs of low 11 at 6psi. Currently my fuel table is all set to zero and the emanage is controlling after timing.

the trick with getting the fuel correct when not in boost is to do a "clocking crystal" mod. either a 4.4Mhz or 4.8Mhz chip in there will lean out your base fuel table by 5% and 10% respectively. i run 385cc injectors in my 1600 with an emanage blue and its not perfect, but its been in there for 7 years without issue. i havent touched the tune in at least 5 years. my hot starts arent great but i'll get around to a crystal change and retune "one day"
