Cooler pipes with A/C and P/S??

Postby alexpav » Thu Jul 26, 2012 6:19 pm

Hey all
Started working on cooler piping today....I know there are a few posts on this....but I couldnt find a post that clearly showed if you to install a cooler with a LOW mount SE manifold but leaving PS and AC in the car on my NA8...
Id like to keep both but there is not alot of room there at all on the hot side in amongst all the AC and PS bits.

Any suggestions?

Has to come back up and over and in front of the A/C from memory.

That all seems easy enough, but the problem is getting the pipe through down the bottom...so cluttered.

You can fit a 2.25" pipe through there, 2" is easy.

when i was doing mine there was absolutely no way i was getting piping down through that area so i actuslly went around to the otherside of the engine. and down. it made the piping quite long but it was the only way i could do it. when i removed my aircon there was plenty of space.

i went from this

to this.

i had the cooler modified so both end tank pipes point directly back and then straight up. even with a low car i haven't had a problem.
