Hey, please link me if this has already been covered in another post, but i was unable to find any information.

I have recently purchased a CX racing intercooler kit. The piping all fits well and looks to be of good quallity but i can figure out how the cooler core is mounted. The kit came with brackets that look to be custom made but no instructions were included.

The kit is for a 1990 na6, any help would be appreciated.

Thankyou, Mat

I've not had the pleasure of seeing a CX Racing intercooler. However I had something like the intercooler below in a previous NA6. The photo is from Flyin' Miatas website.

My intercooler had two nuts welded to the top. I made up a bracket similar to the one above. I then hung the intercooler in front of the air conditioning heat exchanger using the bonnet latch mount. This will be easier to understand if you refer to Section 10 of Flyin' Miata's turbo install instructions as linked below. I used an earlier version of these instructions to install my turbo.....very handy.
