I may need to buy / make up an intercooler kit for my turbo conversion soon guys.

Just wondering what kits any of you turbo guys are running or did you make up your own kits using a cheap ebay intercooler and just get a pipe shop to make up the pipes etc? Cost etc?

Any info would be great as I may need to think about buying one soon.

As stated, eBay intercooler (or get one from just jap), and get the brackets + pipes made up...easy :)

Slightly modified xr6T intercooler, and piping done at the exhaust shop up the road.

Another alternative to fleabay 'coolers are second-hand OEM:

Pipes of various sizes, metallurgy, and bends are easily sourced from aforementioned eBay, as are silicone couplers from eBay UK. I've bought several silicone hoses for different applications from the UK and they are top-notch.

Worm-gear hose clamps are good enough for low-ish boost application, just buy them from your fave hardware/auto shop, but if you want T-bolt or V-band clamps then eBay UK is also the place to shop.

For those of you that got your pipes made up from an exhaust shop - how much did they cost?

Thanks
