Quite a few different options available. How much power are you looking for? What will you be using the car for?

Off the top of my head:
Moss Motors have the Jackson Racing M45 and MP62 hotside kits.
Fast Forward Superchargers (forum sponsor up the top) has the MP62 cold side kits.
Plus there are the various Rotrex etc kits.

Have you considered turbo?

Bell Engineering and Flyin' Miata have complete turbo kits.

Have a look at Saboteurs car for sale: http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=44859

dont get an mp45! you will be disappointed when for just a little extra you could get the larger mp62. 45 is good for 1.6 but isnt grunty enough for the 1.8
hot side gives you more room to move...this is a good thing since you will want more power...all humans want more power...the power mod bug has an infectious bite!
cold side ffs mp62 is apparently a good thing but once fitted theres bugger all to do to make more than 200 hp( which is heaps but dont forget the bug!)
rotrex seems like a very good idea!!!! but is apparently expensive.
hate to say it but turbo is probably the WTG. talk to mx5 mania. they have done all the SC and even more turbo's. they will suggest turbo with reasonably compelling arguments.
good luck....and definitely do it...FI will transform your car in a very good way
enjoy

Speak to Tom at FFS - from what I understand, you can't do better than his MP62 coldside kit.

What about a toyota sc14 supercharger? You can buy them for just under $500 plus labour to make a bracket and fit it for you. I hear that these make good power on both 1.6 and 1.8 motors.
