Removing distributor and fitting a CAS

I’m hoping somebody is able to help me out. I have a 1964 MK1 Cortina that I’m fitting a turbo charged BP1.8 to. I have removed the distributor (for firewall clearance reasons) and will be fitting a CAS (haven’t got yet) and microtech computer and module, coils, etc (got this stuff).

What I need to know is the part number of the CAS and was hoping that somebody could check the CAS on their BP, B6, etc and tell me what number it has stamped on it so I can order one. I believe it should be T1T48371.

Also if anybody knows where I could find either second hand one or new one could you let me know. I know Nardek do one.

Try MX5Plus at Stafford. He's open on Saturday's and has heaps of parts available. He could no doubt sell you a CAS. http://www.mx5plus.com.au

Where do you intend to get the Microtech tuned? I have an LT8 in one of my cars, and have not yet found anyone who can tune it properly. I've had a couple of recommendations, but haven't tried any of them yet...

I bought my gearbox through MX5 Plus and am waiting for him to get back to me on the CAS.

Tuning the LT10S will be done by Matt Spry (used to be the guru at Chip Torque) and he now runs PITS Automotive located at 10/42 Export Drive in Molendinar (off the Smith Street Motorway) can be contacted on 0411 340 033.

Confirmed "T1T48371" is stamped into the side of the CAS on my '93 NA8, i.e. BP motor. Unfortunately you missed the following new CAS for just over $20 recently on ebay:

Thanks mate. I actually got one today from Richard @ MX5 Plus for $50.

Is a B6 one and has a slightly different number stamped in it but fits and will do the job.

I'll throw some pictures of where I'm at with my conversion if anybody is interested?
