FFS Coldside Install - Remote Clutch Master Cylinder

I am really slowly getting through installing the FFS coldside I bought ages ago, though I better post up some progress. One of the issues with installing the coldside on a RHD car is the lack of clearance between the intake and the clutch reservoir. Instead of having a very tight elbow or the bendy tube supplied I decided to make a remote reservoir for the clutch. I think the result should work well, and I now have clearance for a proper intake elbow, the intake will go over the engine to a cold air box on the left side.
I have put some pictures on the FFS forum go here for a squizz:
http://www.fastforwardsuperchargers.com ... #post21524Still a couple of things to modify (because I can't leave anything standard) but this should make the RHD install easier while keeping decent clearance to the clutch reservoir.

I would love to turn up more often, but the 5000km commute from work is a bitch!

Are you in my neck of the woods Pete....or have you gone north?
Cheers,
Danny

Very North..... So far north that I have rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Currently working on fabrication of steel structures for a mine expansion in the Pilbara, all the modules are fabricated in Thailand about 80km south of Bangkok then assembled at Sattahip Port for transport to Port Headland.
As FIFO locations go this one isn't bad except that I can't go anywhere near Bangkok with all the current shennanigans going on there. When the media talks about grenade attacks they mean 40mm self propelled grenades fired from M79's, with an effective range of 300m or so!
One of these days I will get over your way to have a sticky beak at your workshop (toyshop?).

Sounds like you've got your hands full Pete!
Great to hear that the job is going well...shame it has taken you away from the toy! I know how you feel....I've barely done anything to the NC in 6 months.
...and yes you must let me know if you are ever to pass through or stop-over in Brisvegas so we can catch-up.
Cheers,
Danny

Hi,
Can you give me a ball park figure of what your FFS setup cost?
There seems to be a lot of interest now the US$ is in freefall mode.

I bought the set up without any of the electronics or e-cool off the forum then separately bought the rest from FFS. Cost would be close to the new price for the total kit once I bought everything.
You will probably also need an airbox, I bought the one done by Ari on the FFS forum, and DDM Works now do a stainless cross over intake that replaces the flex pipe in the kit. Mine still needs the TPS set properly and a dyno tune to get the fueling spot on and a free flowng exhaust and cat would be nice.
Overall, it is a nice setup, plenty of power without being stupid and until you get on it it's hard to tell it's not stock.
