Injen Short Ram Intake - SP Series (Polished)

I'm still looking for a Cold Air Intake and alternatives to the "expensive" AEM Air Intake (A$599).

The "ideal" Flying Miata kit is out of consideration due to the fact that the Aussie SE's ABS system is right where the Air Filter is mounted.

I've just found the US$295.26 Injen Short Ram Intake - SP Series (Polished) (see http://www.andysautosport.com/mazda/199 ... 28723.html ).

This kit also includes a Stainless Steel Throttle Body Pipe which the AEM Air Intake does not and costs an additional A$220. It also has a stainless steel intercooler connector too.

The Injen kit mounts in the same position as the AEM Air Filter so are there any logistical reasons why I should not consider it?

I can't find much info on this kit in Australia so does anyone have one installed or know much about it?

All feedback appreciated.

I kept clear of it for that reason.

Oh and i'm 95% sure it doesnt replace the throttle body elbow, thats just the compressor inlet pipe.

Thanks - I decided to stick with the "tried and true" AEM Air Intake (ordered from US).
