Hey

I am considering the FI path,

Currently have MS PnP yet to be installed, CAI and full exhaust.

I have been offered a HKS Turbo kit, does anyone have experience of feedback about these?

Cheers
Jaron

When I was researching before I turboed the NA, I found the HKS to be pretty good from most reports. Certainly better than the GReddy kit.

Turbo is gooooood.

The HKS turbo kit works well.
The manifold is quite sturdy and has not shown any signs of cracking in the ~40000kms run so far in my possesion.
The turbo (if it's the original one) spools up from about 1400rpm to 6psi by 1800 rpm with ebc.

One convenient yet drawnback feature of it is a teed off oil dipstick drain. If the oring entering the bloc/sump area at the bottom of the dipstick is no good, you get a nicve oil leak to dirty up your undercarriage. A drilled and tapped sump will obviously be a better option.

The dump pipe straight after the turbo is pretty restrictive and prone to cracking, so check it out carefully or budget in a custom job (talk down the purchase price).

Other than that, you can upgrade the T25 to a nissan turbo and bigger dump pipe to take advantage of some nicer boost.

Just to clarify, there were two GReddy turbo kits for the B6 NA6CE (see here -> clicky)
Not to say I do not recommend HKS as a brand but we need to be accurate when comparing turbo kits.
