I'm really suprised it hasn't had issues with that kind of power.

What PSI do you run? and do you have a electronic boost controller?

Its not important, all max HP before breakage figures known are at the wheels. 250rwhp-270rwhp. Thats broken rods and 5 speed.

SEs come with a 6 speed.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

What is the mechanical loss between flywheel and rear wheels if the rwkw is 174?

I dont think anyone does genuine proper roll down tests so no one knows.

And it changes for every car and at each hp level.

Also, its not important, you can have 1000000hp at the flywheel, if you only have 100 at the wheels its just as slow as any other stock na6.

Yup, but I'm just trying to find out a way of knowing roughly how much power at the flywheel as some people on here and other forums (fora) use flywheel hp.

They dont and cant use flywheel HP. They can make something up and pretend they know but dynos measure wheel horsepower, which is the only relevant power at all unless one needs to calculate fuel consumption or something. Like how a supercharged car making 250rwhp will destroy rods because the supercharger robs 25hp, therefor the engine internals need to survive at least 275rwhp worth of turbo power.

Apart from working out something like that, which is at best a vague guess anyway (how much power does X blower consume at all applicable rpm and boost levels on X engine?), theres no use for knowing. Maybe calculating whether a clutch- which has never ever been used on an engine its designed for, including the manufacturer- will survive X Nm of torque.

Too long didnt read: What does it matter how many flywheel horsepower the car has when its the wheels that move the vehicle.

Purists look away and don't even open the webpage - link removed Okibi 27/3/2012 - gives malware warning -

Roughly calculating for a 15 percent rwd loss, I have your car sitting on 276 hp or approximately 206kw.

Purists you were warned.
