You can fit 60mm cooler piping through that gap with stock sways, and 55mm piping with anything else.

yes i had to remove the aircon.. i saw no way that the cooler pipes would fit down there without removing the aircon. The aircon hadnt worked for as long as i remember anyway so it wasn't so bad. Plus i have 5 other cars a ute and truck to choose from so its not like i lack options in summer. the difference between mine and others is my cooler pipes run under the radiator instead of around it. Car isn't that low so theres still plenty of room, plus cooler pipes are much shorter with less bends. If i had a spare bonnet i would probably have hacked into the reinforcement frame and put the cooler pipes over the radiator and into the 2 holes.

The intercooler I'm using has it's outlets just proud of the end of the radiator. With some 90 degree bends it actually fits quite neatly. I'll post a picture sometime.

I would be worried having the intercooler pipes under the radiator over speed bumps etc.

ive done the ignition timing map today. base timing of 14degrees with -1 for every 1psi. Dont know why but turbo is only pushing 2psi though. ive checked all the cooler piping and the wastegate. only thing left is to take off the wastegate hose and carefully see if itll boost. At 2psi inj duty cycle is 51% but slightly lean.
