This one is a bit more modified these days

Also in W.A. Chris's should be making similar power once it is back on the road.

Re: Australias Modified SE's
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Sounds easily achievable. I recently dynoed 216rwhp with nothing special under the bonnet.

Re: Australias Modified SE's
Of course.
This is why I always tell everyone to slap a T25/28 on and wind it up.
This car will have a fantastic torque curve though. And potential for 300 with new rods.
I dont expect it to be fastest but I do expect it to be one of the only SEs with no SE specific parts left lol.

Doubt it.
Also youre saying that your SE has stock internals, clutch and turbo and is putting out 175rwkw, manias dyno in the middle of winter??
Dann
It would have been a dyno in or near Sydney as that's where the previous owner lived. He did all the other work to a decent standard but I have no way of verifying their figures, and no need or desire to as it seems to go way better than a standard SE regardless of the season. My guess would be that you'd be the guy to talk to if and when I bend the rods and want the motor properly sorted, along with a decent turbo, head, cams, valves and ECU?
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

Re: Australias Modified SE's
The guy to speak to about a full package build would be wozzah, who may or may not sned you to me for manifold/exhaust etc.
I believe that a stock internals stock turbo SE might be able to make those figures, but it must be making all that power up top, or the torque figures would bent the rods quick smart.
Also I imagine the exhaust wheel has been changed to get that figure out at the RPpM im guessing its at.

Just thought I would throw in what can and was done 4 years ago to Simon's SE.
The power run was done at 15psi boost.
He now has forged internals and a ridiculous torque curve.

Thanks Paul. I was wondering where that thread had gone. I feel bad now that I've exaggerated the power by 0.6 kW. And yes Dann, the turbo is completely standard. It is not the modified one shown in the 33619 thread and it has a standard exhaust wheel. I sold the modded turbo and downpipe and wish I'd kept them although I'd probably have holes in the side of the block by now.
