If I misunderstood and miss read what he said then I apologise. I had my boyfriend read it and he thought the same as I did but we may both have been wrong.

Sticky Nicky - I was trying to help you.

Unbeknown to you, I have self done a turbo conversion on my MX5. I learned heaps from miataturbo, and I was telling you about that site as a resource. I did my reading. I researched. I looked specifically for answers to questions such as yours for myself, before asking them openly on the forum. And surprise surprise, those answers (as are almost every tech fact, issue, modification, repair, and finicky little idiosyncrasy of the MX5) were available online before I'd even typed the words "Can someone please help me with .........?"

As others here have indicated, I was not calling you ignorant or lazy - merely telling you that the entire population at miataturbo are VERY VERY helpful - if you show them that you have taken time to review the massive store of resources and information to help DIYers like you.

So good luck with your turbo - I trust you find a community of people experienced and open enough to assist you in the future.

Alternatively try Google....

As for being a dick head - perhaps you might try another use for your BOV..... I'm pretty sure you can imagine where to shove it.

By the way - if you and your boyfriend think I was harsh on you, good luck on the forums.

Thanks for your feedback Uncle Arthur,

I didnt see the miataturbo link at the top when I read your answer, so thought you were talking about this forum and me.

I was just after some simple basic answers so that when I do take my car to a dynotuner I had some idea of what he was talking about.
I dont need to know all the ins and outs, thats what im paying the tuner for.
You might be surprised but neither me or my boyfriend, who attends the WRX forums on a regular basis have never been chewed up and spat out, so we must be avoiding the forums that do that sort of thing.
Like I said, I appologise for misreading your post, thanks for the advice on where to shove my BOV, ill keep that in mind.
