Re: Dave's SE
Sorry Dann, I've jumped the gun and will have to let you know shortly in due course- my tuner is playing his cards close to his chest with his number crunching until till we do the touchup fine tune after having done such a big initial tune. Will reveal more in the comming weeks!! :?

Re: Dave's SE
Hey NitroDann- RE timing issues, the problem child doesn't seem to like taking timing on high boost with 98pulp. She has one or 2 good runs then start playing up- I understand most like about 30 degrees where as the problem child starts hissy fitting and pinging at around 17 degrees.
On the E85, with the flash point being higher its all good and there seems to be no issues. Any thoughts buddy?

Daffy, Pick the car up on waste gate boost and go for a drive to Newcastle, give your car to Dann.
Stay overnight then drive home with 400HP
I'm serious here.
Richard.

We may not hear from Dave for a while as he's too busy enjoying the car and catching up on years of missed driving!

1. Holy sh1t! (and this is from someone prone to understatement)
2. Holy sh1t!
3. It needs the next gear quicker than I can grab it
4. 70-1** in 6th is a cinch. Yes, of course I backed off at 110 (NSW limit).
5. Dann's magic with the boost control makes it unnecessary as far as I can see on the road, to have boost by gear or a progressive throttle control.
6. Changing gears is easier if the drivetrain isn't rocking about
7.Did I mention HOLY SH1T!

Re: Dave's SE
Someone already suggested a better way home than the freeway but I can't find that post and I think it just said "coast road".
Suggestions appreciated of maybe 6-10 waypoints that'll be more interesting than doing 110 then 100 between Newcastle NSW and Mornington Vic.
Also would anyone like to buy a 94 Pulsar auto currently at Dann's in Newcastle? Much service history. Only 330,000kms. Bumped on most corners. Broken rear quarter light (it locked me out yesterday so I John Cleesed it). Goes withou using much oil at all, stops, steers, doesn't rain in, although John Cleeseotomy repair with race tape not yet tested. A/C works on highest setting (only). JVC head unit *WITH REMOTE CONTROLLER*!. At least one of the speakers always works. Black front seat covers and no idea what's underneath. Separate amp - I mean really separate, not connected. Extra glass on back seat (courtesy JC). Mostly Matt White in colour. ALLOY WHEELS. Rubbery tyres. Dash mat. Steering wheel cover. SCA floor mats only 15yrs old. Vic plates will be removed tomorrow.
$500. Buyer pays any NSW transfer fees etc.
