Me too, although I've also been lucky enough to get some great advice in exchange for my dumb questions.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

Coolant re route will help solve your cooling probs once and for all..

Someone may confirm, but I read somewhere the nb8b has a slightly different configuration and requires a 8A head gasket to take advantage of the "coolant reroute"?

For the SE, which has a variant of the 8a head, then the NA8 head gasket is the go.

I'm not sure what works for the 8b/c VVT head which is different again. :roll:
