Postby Aussie Stig » Sun Sep 07, 2014 6:50 pm

From those who know prices, can I buy a new GT2560R for under $1000 in Aust?

This is similar to the one they used in the SP, right?

Closest on that web page was:Garrett DISCO POTATO GT2860RS
$1,220.00 (inc GST). Not quite what I asked for.

So a gen Garrett CHRA is what, $600 + labour? Does that make it 'good as new'?

People commonly rebuild these rather than buy a whole new unit?

(Nitrodann where are you now I need you?)

You would not give it to a shop to rebuild using a brand new CHRA. From memory there is something like 6 or 8 bolts and a giant circlip that holds each housing on to the CHRA.
