I have just fitted the BEGI CAI, very happy with and it is enclosed so it is legal and quieter. Don't know how it compares dollar wise with the AEM

Yep that's what I was chasing too and that is what I got :)

I got my AEM intake from Amazon US for ~$300 shipped when the AUD was good.

The begi unit looks very nice in the SE engine bay.
Would be cool if it was stainless and had a lid on it like the DDMworks stage2 box does.
If Dann made a nice shiny stainless steel copy of the begi intake if be all over it!

Yeah I bought this thinking I may at some stage make a removable lid, but for now i'm happy with it as is.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
