Hi guys im in the process of acquiring the begi-s turbo kit that's on sale here to replace my td04 system which is good but spools rather late at 4000rpm. The kit comes with a busted chinese turbo that is a gt2854. It has a rebuild kit but i dont think i will bother rebuilding when another chinese turbo is so cheap. The options i'm looking at right now is another chinese turbo gt2871 (journal bearing) or a used s15 bb turbo. bear in mind my goals are only 150hp atw or 8psi.
what the car already has
NA6
2.5 exhaust
greddy emanage
starion intercooler
330cc supra injectors
unless someone tells me that the chinese journal bearing turbos are crap then i will go with the garret t28 but they seem to get good reviews. If they last 50,000ks id be really happy.

Re: t28 turbo options
the bbt28 will spool nice and early. You will make well over 150hp at wastewater pressure, so you won't make that little hp without an intentionally rubbish tune.

Re: t28 turbo options
I would also imagine that Nissan turbo would be better made, and last longer, than the Chinese turbo.
(I know bugger all about turbos, but I assume the OEM part is going to be made a LOT better than the Chinese equivalent)
