Re: Oil Oil Oil everywhere...
I picked up a brand new PCV valve for a GTX 323.
It is non Genuine, was from Repco.
But when i got home and took it out of the packet it and blow through it, it still slightly leaks.
If i shake it and try again sometimes it seals sometimes it does not.
So i assume at 8 or more PSI it prob stands no chance.
I have found a few guys in the states who are running a one way check valve before the PCV.

They are really cheap but i can not for the life of me find where i could get one in Sydney?
If anyone has an idea i would love to know.
I think this would rule that issue out, then i can sort out the Hot side vent into a catch can and go from there.
Oh and if you want a good read on Crankcase Venting on NA & TURBO, i found this really useful.

Re: Oil Oil Oil everywhere...
Ohhh really??
I wondered why you went a full rebuild.
If that is my issue i will just rebuild it in a few months.
Hoping i can get away with some improved ventilation for now.

Re: Oil Oil Oil everywhere...
Nah. I ended up figuring out my issue was just a blocked hotside vent from the cam cover.
Braineack reccomends the check valve though.
Prob worth getting.
