Problem solved. Plug with smaller gap did the trick.

You need quality colder plugs.
Didn't anyone from any of the recent tuning shops replace them? Or at least suggest it? I assumed they did as it's a basic upgrade that corresponds with higher boost mods.

'zoomzoom' and I have been using BCPR7ES copper spark plugs successfully for boosted applications. They come gapped at 0.8mm which should be good.

I'd also change the spark plug leads...

im pretty sure thats what i run in my car too. no messing around with gapping plugs. just buy and chuck them in.

Also i am surprised that people dont do something to address the Volt drop to the coils from the stock wiring loom. the voltage getting to the coils is pathetic.
i am going to run a heavy wire from my alternator via a relay mounted next to the ignitor. that way the coils will get all the voltage they deserve.

Hey Ron,

Just wanted to ask, what plugs did you end up going with and what gap was the car happy at?
