Hey guys,
Before I go out and buy something new i thought id see if anyone has anything second hand.
I'm located in Perth.
I either going to purchase a turbo (prefered at this stage) or a s/c kit to go on my 2000 NB8A.
Does anyone here in perth have something they are looking to get rid of?
Otherwise what is the best bang for your buck kits? I'm sure everyone has seen the ebay turbo kits going for ~$1k + management and the FM and BEGI kits. Remeber bang for buck is what im after.
Cheers,
Dale

Forget the ebay kit, the manifold and downpipes last about a month. The begi kits are 100% reliable. Also, use a megasquirt.

I am assuming you will DIY and you know what you are doing...
If so, I'd say your best bang-for-buck will be a BEGi Shanghai kit with intercooler #1 (#2 if you're going with a bigger turbo), plus a Brain or Reverant built Megasquirt (DIYPNP or MS3x) from the MT.net forums.
Better still would to be to buy a good used setup from a mt.net forum member who is willing to help with shipping...

Thanks guys,
I thought the EBay kits seemed to good to be true.
Just trying to decide what to go with at this stage and yes, i'll be doing all the work myself and know what i'm doing.

From memory best bang for buck in Perth would be Spikey's HKS setup for sale.

It is a known fact that 50% of people are of less than average intelligence
