Like many SE owners, I've modded my car by upgrading the intake to an AEM CAI and replaced the OEM rubber TBI with a stainless steel TBI.
This meant I "lost" the barb on the TBI to control the wastegate actuator so I needed to find an alternate boost source to control the wastegate.
Initially I tapped the large brake booster hose at the rear of the intake manifold for this but when I got my Gizzmo MS-2 EBC they recommended that the wastegate actuator source should come from a souce as close as possible to the turbo outlet - Flyin Miata also recommend this and their intake kit provides a steel pipe with a barb specifcally for this purpose so I bought their pipe as an individual piece (they're happy to do this if you ask).
I was initially leaning towards using the following Quicktap connector instead:

You can use this connector on either the hose between your intercooler and the TBI or on the connection hose between the TBI and the BOV.
I'm now leaning again towards this solution, especially after reading this article (again):

These only cost US$9.75 but the S&H is expensive (US$45 for 1 is the cheapest available option to us, arriving via Canada Only Express, 1-2 days) so I'd like to set up a Group Buy to offset the S&H cost.
If you'd be interested in one of these, please add yourself below, I'd like at least 8 people to reduce the S&H cost to something reasonable (given the cost of the Quicktap kit itself).
