What oil are the turbos (both factory and nonfactory) using?

What oil are the turbos (both factory and nonfactory) using?

The Magnatec avialable to the dealers used to be different to the stuff you buy in the shops. The dealer version was a semi synthetic, the shop stuff wasn't. That was a few years ago, things may have changed since then.
Shiney black one with added red bits. Member of the fart club. Now with extra doof and Sunlong. - deceased and gone to heaven

I use Elf Synthetic...works fine.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

Plus several others in the bone yard...

Garry, it says on the label that "Magnatec combines Intelligent Molecules with synthetic technology for a stronger protection...." so what do you make of it? Semi synthetic or just marketing hype? Anyway I've always used Magnatec, and I wish this thread came out before I bought the expensive Mobile 1 despite the on-special price.
