100K Service

Hi Folks,
I am a new here, and I hope to hear some advice from my fellow MX5 owners:)
My 2000 NB is just coming up to its 100,000km distance and I am hoping to get some advice from others about getting the timing belt/water pump et al service done. (I am in Melbourne's east)
Got the car about 12 months back, and it is up to date with its service history from a Mazda dealer. I also do regular oil/filter changes myself, but the thought of doing the 100K service is beyond me:)
There are maybe 3 scenarios I have before me:
1/ Take it to a Mazda dealer which I have been told will cost heaps.
2/ Take it to the MX5 Factory in Ringwood, Melbourne.
3/ Buy a 100K kit from MX5 mania and have a local mechanic do the work.
I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with this, and has experiences to share?
I love my MX5 and want to get the best service possible, but like many folks, I cannot just throw the dollars away if not really needed:)
I will really appreciate any advice from others here.
Cheers
