Big hit and the airbag didn't go off.

Doesn't look like that big a hit to me. Airbags don't go off if the ignition is off, my guess is that someone backed into it with a tray top while parked. Definitely repairable I would say, certainly worth a trip to have a close look at the front end if you were interested in building a racecar. I wonder if the bottom end was built? Surely someone on here recognises the rego?
Did the owner declare the turbo to the insurance company, it's being sold by insurer? That suggests yes, but if the car was stationary when hit, the owner could mount a case that the turbo was irrelevant to the cause of the claim.
