That is one of the best colours for the NA for sure.
I don't know that you can really precede 189k km with "only" though
And I don't think the original softtop is a selling point on a 30 year old car! That shifter isn't stock as well. Not sure about the steering wheel, but although I like it I don't think it's stock either.
And my last nit-pick, take the damn P plate off for photos! I see a P plate on a car and I start doubting the care that's been given to the car. He's asking a pretty high price, but not outlandish in today's market, so you want to present as well as possible.

Steering wheel is stock (just needs the centre cover).
That gearstick is certainly aroused! Why?!
Why is it being transported on a trailer? Look in the background of some of the photos.

It might be a factory softtop, but I hardly think that that is an
original factory softtop. That rear window is in just too good shape to be 30 years old surely?
I can think of Reasons why you would trailer it to a photo shoot, especially if it has just had a super detailing and polishing which the photos seem to support. Certainly agree about the 'P' plate though!

That roof looks original. Look at the picture showing the underside, all faded and crappy.
My roof is 28 years old and original and looks a lot better than that one as the previous owner never used it and had a hardtop (the HT has all the wear and age).

Considering how crap the original yellow was, you'd have to check if original paint. Yellow always has poor coverage so it had to be painted twice at factory.

Apart from the first pic, the others weren't visible in the enlarged view, so couldn't see detail using Firefox or Edge, but agree from the sound of it that just a little bit more thought could have gone into presentation for sale.

$21k, that is more than 3 times what I sold my last Malibu Gold for. Asking prices are down right obscene at the moment.
Still, it is a Malibu Gold................I wish hadn't seen this post

Yes, prices are locking out a lot of enthusiasts who don't have or won't pay the silly asking prices. We all know in our bones that prices will eventually decline.

I'm not sure they'll come down by much at all, never back to where they were. There's simply nothing similar that you could go and buy for cheaper instead. There's no competition, but plenty of demand.
But that's a debate topic for another thread

Awesome rare, unmolested "collectors" car - I'd hold it until I got my asking price.
