I’m going to this Lakeside Sprint organised by the BMW club Qld. Having done a few they’re usually well organised and you can hire your transponder on the day.

Post here if any other MX5’s are going?

I'll see you there. I know at least one other MX5 will be there, a certain black NA8 Clubman. Should be a good day.

Reckon i'd like to pop in to say hello early in afternoon session but also cant run. Dont want to take on Lakeside sans roll bar. I survived QR on Monday but would like the added "protection" after a couple of hairy pushes past my ability. Have fun guys!

You simply don't do that at Lakeside...with or without ROPS. Correct lines and creeping up on it are the order of the day.

Yeah, it's an awesome track for a little one isn't it?

Hopefully you guys can get onto the tarmac soon, will keep an eye out and say hello - you can't miss me...I have very green wheels

Yes. That makes a lot of sense. What are those correct lines again? ;-)

Yes, you don't ever over do it at Lakeside. Then you will have a great time, it's a fantastic piece of road. Very challenging and enjoyable. Actually I find it's less stressful than QR because you make the Lakeside mental adjustment and simply decide to not really push it too hard.

Have a good day you guys? Feedback on the BMW Club FB page all seems positive.

Great day, love the social aspect of these days. I only ran the morning as I had an electrical issue but a whole bunch of drivers helped out to trace the fault. Good to see Jesting again and see you on track soon.
I'll post some in car vid but my Garmin Virb doesn't have exposure adjustment so it's a bit sh*t.
