Hello Drivers, Entries are now open for the Morgan Park Trackday on Saturday 22/7 This is an Inter-Club Challenge event, and is also the "5th" MX5CQ event for the year.
I haven't seen the CAMS supplementary regulations yet, but I imagine the event will be similar to last year. You will need a CAMS L2S or higher license, and your car will be scrutinised. I will be more specific when I email out the formal invite.
I really want to do this but have been busy and haven't sorted out new tyres for my track rims after one started falling apart at Norwell (The joys of 16x8).

What a day! It was 0.5° at Purga when we left, 10° half way up the Gap, 7.5° at the Gap and then a very nice -2° at Morgan Park!
Despite a small delay to the start of the day and having to bed some new pads in managed to lower my PB's on both tracks. Yes Morgan Park has had a resurface, but the only change to the car was the splitter (both times were on AD08R's with similar usage).
Layout K - lowered previous time by 4.6 seconds to a 1:31.75
Layout E - lowered previous time by 2.15 seconds to 1:12.90
Silly me forgot to push the car into the dash so no data collected

Found around 5 seconds on K and 4 on E, so pretty happy with the day. Combination of new surface, the 4.3 Torsen and a heap of varied time in the seat in the twelve months since the last visit - I think the Norwell day with its late apexes was of particular help. Have some footage from my PB session on the K layout below.

congrats! I think our group had a great mix. By the way the new camera footage looks fantastic!
Morgan Park is a great track, from going under the bridge a full noise and unable to see the other side, to the flip flops on both layouts.
