We are looking for eager and enthusiastic motorists who may want to register to race in our upcoming rally event, the Sidchrome Extreme Rallycar Championship 2015-2016. Our first event is on September 4th-5th at Lakeside Raceway, with Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide all confirmed and set for the following months.

We would appreciate any support and would love to see a local hero take out the $10,000 in cash and prizes we have up for grabs! We are hoping you can forward our call to your membership list and point some avid drivers in our direction whether it's through your mailing list, facebook, forum or just word of mouth!

The Extreme Rallycar Championship 2015 has already created widespread attention in the media with publications 'AutoAction', 'Motorsport.com' and 'Newscorp Australia' just to name a few.

International racing champions Alister McRae and Chris 'ATKO' Atkinson are confirmed to compete as well as the event to be broadcast on the Foxtel network, Sportsweek, SBS and live streaming services.

With such overwhelming support, Extreme Rallycross is set to be a big hit and this massive event will only continue to rise.

We hope to hear from you and are thankful if you share our calling! :)

Kind Regards,

Thanks JBT

Being familiar with Rallycross I was wondering exactly where they would get a mix of tarmac & gravel at Lakeside. I have been advised that the Driver Training area will be the location not the track which makes sense to me

Any further information on that will be appreciated

Enjoy the vision attached, maybe a little old but still the excitement is there

No gravel on the lakeside course, only tarmac and dirt. There's also a jump on one of the dirt stretches, so unless your car is going to survive a fall, not really an mx5 kind of event lol.

Checked the QR calendar and shows earthworks are currently happening over in the 'driver training' area [yellow cube on their calendar] so I will have to check it out when I am there Sunday [86/BRZ breakfast laps then General Practice and Sprints in the afternoon]

Track should be well rubbered up for Monday
