SDT Track Day with Training - 11 July

Next day is couple of months away.

Morgan Park has moved our day from the planned 18th July to a week earlier on the 11th July.

Usual story, if you want to try Morgan Park in a no pressure day with more track time than you will know what to do with, let me know. You can play on your own all day, or get some tuition from highly experienced racers whenever you want.

As per the usual structure, one morning session, one afternoon session. I would recommend the morning session as you get back to Brisbane mid afternoon.

I will be heading off to Indonesia in a couple of weeks for almost a month, but will be back end of June, so you have plenty of time to make a decision and let me know through here, though there will be some times I will have no web access as I will be in remote Sulawesi working. However if I can get an idea of numbers in the next couple of weeks I can let SDT know and put a tentative booking in for us. Also you will get the special club price booking through here.

Would be great to see some of those who couldn't make the one make the effort, some new guys who want to try a new track, that in my opinion is he beat track in Queensland as it has a bit of everything, and of course those who have been before, come back for another great day.

Great news, that makes it a week before the next club day at lakeside. I loved Morgan Park, hoping to be make it up there, must remember to bring warm clothing, my bloody heater is disconnected, must remember to find a heater core!

Rosters align, book me in! I'll travel in the comfort of the Amarok and the MX5 can freeze on the trailer.

Finally looking forward to seeing how much the car/driver have improved since last going there.

Good to see two have stepped up, now for some more.......

If you want to get some tuition for your driving, pick up some tips that will shave seconds off your times, or just take the car for a thrash on a great track, you won't find many more days that are as good bang for your buck as these.

I will let SDT know that there will be some MX5's coming to play in the next few weeks.

I will also get the ball rolling on firming up numbers when I am back from Indonesia, which will be mid June.

I'm keen, but it's no longer on my actual birthday! Going to have to take a little more convincing to my keeper, but I'll try. I clearly could benefit greatly from some tuition :oops:

And I do want to get more track time, so it's win-win. Put me down as maybe for now.

Just booked accommodation in Warwick for 11/07 at the Coachmans Inn Warwick. Stopped here before, a great place.

Son (x MX5 owner) is possibly comming out in his Commode. Not sure if he will be doing the morning or afternoon, however I may end up doing both sessions.

Would be keen. Might have the car and trailer ready by then and so would be good to get up, do a full day, sleep over and head back the next day.

So pencil me in as a very likely starter for a full day (assuming I can leave earlier enough to arrive in time for a morning session).

My thoughts as well G, plus where the family is staying has a great resturant (well it was last time I was there). The staff treated Jaye (who was 5 at the time) very very well and Jaye still remembers his dinner there.

I'll be towing the 5 at that time of the morning it will be very cold!

Only a couple of weeks to go until this day and it is timed perfectly to get some training and tips before the next track day on the 20th.

It is also a great opportunity to run a different, and in my opinion, the best track in Queensland with a good mix of high and low speed corners that will suit a big powered car or a car that handles well.

Anyone else keen to have a run?????
