SDT Morgan park track day with training

Postby MattR » Tue Jan 20, 2015 8:49 am

SDT has released the dates for this track and training days out at Morgan Park for this year.

The dates are:
    Saturday 14th March
    Saturday 18th July, and
    Saturday 24th October

So who is keen to try a day on the track with no pressure and the chance to get some tuition???

For the first track day in March, who would be keen? As per the last track day, I should be able to get the forum special price of $220 instead of the usual $253.

Here is some info on the day, SDT Track Days

There is a morning or afternoon available, my preference at this time of year would be the morning session.

If anyone is keen, let me know and I can organise a block booking for either the morning or afternoon session.

As this is the first day of the year spots can fill up quickly, so the earlier we get it sorted, the better to make sure we get our preferred slot.

I am keen. Plan to start getting some track time this year, and I know I'll need the help! Also, July 18 just so happens to be my Birthday  At this stage, I'd be interested in all 3 sessions, assume I have no conflicts.

Sorry Mark dates are fixed, SDT have to fit around Morgan Park's available dates of which there are few.

Just get the roster changed, very unreasonable of your employer not to allow you to play.

Or, I could take your 5 out for a run........
I have my own tow car

Shane need to know in the next couple of weeks, and pay pretty much any time up to a week before.

Under 2 hours from Ashgrove, so isn't that far, I know of people with old Zeds and MG's that can make it that far and back!!!!! A 5 has to be more reliable than those.....

And the drive is well worth it, where else can you get around 20 to 30 laps of Morgan Park, in my opinion one of the best tracks as it has a bit of everything with plenty of run off if you happen to push to hard, and if you want, tuition where someone will sit in the silly seat and go round with you to help improve technique and lines.

Yeah, I am more worried about driving back after a day of track work. Staying up there adds to the expense.

I'll see what I have planned for that month and get back to you.

Worried about the car, or being tired?
