and now? some light rain up Lakeside way!! How lucky were we today?

Also thanks to all who travelled up to BP Northbound for coffee after the meet - I'm sure we would all like to have stayed. Special thanks Ross, Matty & Pat who all live south of Lakeside

Great stuff Stu, maybe I'm getting too old but hell I'm still having fun!! It's funny, I'm quite fast thru te corners but lack pure speed where it's needed :( Maybe I need a few more goodies as engine is total stock

There was actually a light shower as I headed home, between Chermside and Kedron. I'd run the last two sessions with the Federals "the wrong way" and put them back to the correct (and indeed legal) way before leaving, much to the amusement of a couple of guys but when I saw two rainbows approaching Chermside I was pretty pleased with my decision.

I'm starting to wonder if they're actually better running the wrong way in the dry.

I noticed that Craig but said nothing! All wet out the front where the NA is banished to, have to clean the NB after today so 'Pirate' can pick it up and get me to surgery and back Friday - I told him he can watch TV and have Pizza Friday night while I moan [maybe] in pain, unbale to do buttons, zips and shoe laces and many other things! I'm right handed and will have no use of my right hand for 10-14 days :(

Was a good day, thanks for organising. Thanks to Tim for the zip ties when Gaz had his little off at the end of the straight.

Had a bit of a preview of the many, many photos taken by my work colleague - there are some great shots in there, I'll set up a Imgur (or similar) album for people to pick through.

In amongst the photos was a nice sequence of a little red NA with a race number made of black tape having a little sideways park midway through the Carousel, but I won't mention names so as to protect the Comp Sec's identity... :)

Cheers. I wasn't expecting it, I was only hoping for 64.5 by the end of the day. Maybe one day I'll get down to 62s with a little less weight/front splitter/more practice.

Weather blessed us Nigel - funny, my area had the highest rainfall in the area overnight with 9mm but around Caloundra it evidently bucketed down

Next time see how you go, 41-42 entries worked out great! I ran the back of Gp.2 and hardly saw anyone, Stan Janke lapped me in one run in his SP but then I found we did SEVEN flying laps!!

little red NA with a race number made of black tape

I was going low profile in anticipation. Normally I have an A3 size number, both sides!

We got really lucky yesterday with no rain. I drove up to Sunny Coast about 10pm, rain and drizzle all the way from about Caboolture. Got drenched unloading the trailer. And same rain coming back this morning.

I hope everyone had a great day. We had a few potential recruits nosing around the pits, so hopefully a couple of new faces for QR in September. I think yesterday was the strongest MX5 presence I have seen, with just two 86s funning in the other makes category.

Congratulations to all who PBed. Especially you Ross. Absolutely sensational time.

Cheers all.

PS: It's not to soon to entry QR!

Was keen, next time fingers crossed.... Cars close to been done. More work to fix her up than I first though...
Be good to catch up.....seems every ones a load quicker, I'll be bringing up the rear!

Cheers
