But we'll have to push him to the unrestricted zone, don't want Roger pinged for going over 40 in Pit Lane

Paid yesterday, should be fun. It'll be my last day without a roll bar, Automotive Plus will be putting one in for me on the 10th :) First time at QR with a bucket seat though, I imagine it'll feel completely different through T6.

TWO WEEKS TO GO :!: Save some money and get your entry payment in by midnight on Monday 26 Aug 13. This will be another round of the club championships that shouldn't be missed whether you're in the competition or not. 8)

Pinged!! Today I was going to have a sedate drive to Maleny in the NA, alas 'Pirate' SMS'd me about the V8's this afternoon and in consequence of telling him around what time i'd be home I went and collected him [5 min drive], let him in the Driver's seat and we headed for Maleny VIA BELLTHORPE!!!!!

Well, I have never been up the range so fast!! I've watched in in-car a few times and holy goats teeth [do they have them?] geeeez!!

Every time I laughed my mouth hurt and I thought I'd bust stitches but so much fun and the grin on 'Pirates' face said it all, bloody NA has never been so fast, actually hit joust on 7000rpm in 3rd just past the top! Oh, that was once on the straights thru the cow-poo!

I think no matter what I'm ready for QR!! All 'Pirate' [Alan] says is 'Can we do it again? can we" can we?' hahaha .. met the 86/BRZ Club for lunch at Mary Cairncross Park and a great day later watching the V8's

When Al gets the video sorted I'm sure it will be posted, just have to pardon the slight shake and the noise of the exhaust and my chatter!

Went out to TimeAttack at lakeside over the weekend and didn't break anything at least not that I have found yet and I PBd with a 58.3 so it was a good day :D. Will give the car a quick look over to check everything is OK but should be good to go for this one now. Might just pack a spare set of front brake pads after last time!

Cheers,

Tim

I was wondering if you beat John in the Supra at time attack Tim, looked very close. He set a new Pb of 58.5 on semis, thinks he might have beaten that too in the last session but Lakeside still have internet problems so there's nothing on Natsoft so he doesn't know. He gave me a few passenger laps at the end of the day, guessing 59-60sec laps. The mechanical grip from that thing is insane, feels like I would expect something with big aero and full slicks to feel.

Yeah, I am still waiting for the times to go up on natsoft too, I went back through the times stored in the lapciever to see what I had done. Was a good day though and plenty of runs due to the low numbers I guess.

Cheers,

Tim

Paid for a new Velo helmet with posts, and a Stand 21 Club HANS device today. Should turn up well before the 9th, not likely to need them at QR but better safe than sorry.
