There was at least one. One of the Mt Cotton regulars, Darren Duffield in a 13BT open wheeler binned it and went up in flames. Has said that he has a bit of a sore neck but is otherwise ok.

As Trackphotos said, there was one fairly solid incident with Darren Duffield. He spent a little while on a stretcher being checked out, and was then around for the rest of the day (although looking rather sore). He has posted some photos of the damage on the Queensland Street Sprints bookface page.
There were one or two other scuffs and scratches, but nothing else significant which is great. The big hay bales and concrete barriers are intimidating, but the track surface was brilliant - smooth, consistent and a good amount of grip. Had it been damp, it may have been another story!
I will work on posting a few of my photos over in the thread I set up for the event.

Went out last Wednesday to the midweek sprints. Car seems to like the cooler weather. PB of 64.15.

Went to Mt Cotton again. Improved PB by 1.3sec, down from 52.9 to 51.6. Changes are about 50kg less weight in the car, and a new alignment. Rang without the wing, and without the splitter (which I broke yesterday), neither of which would have helped anyway. As far as I can tell I came third in class, behind an Exige on twingrooves, and Brad's 2F NA8. Wasn't really planning on being competitive at all, did not expect such a significant improvement over my previous times.

Nice work - that's a brilliant improvement over such a short course.

A couple from last year. Should be back on the track again soon with a few more horses.

New PB while the air was cool this morning, 62.51 at Lakeside. GPS fell off the windscreen when I hit the ripple strip after the bridge, rattled around in the footwell getting under the pedals. Oopsie.

Re: Post you track videos here! QLD tracks.
Ran QR for the first time since September last year. Track was not particularly quick, but my lack of practice had a larger effect I think. Ended up improving by 1.4 seconds on Clubman and 0.9 second on Sprint, compared to last time I ran which was before the aero parts, about 100 laps of Lakeside ago, and before the new alignment. Down to 64.3 seconds on Clubman, 61.4 on Sprint, and I finally ran National for the first time and put down a 1:29.4. Unfortunately it turns out that if you use wifi to wake the GoPro (to watch your off-track excursion and turn 2), it switches one-button record mode back off. Since I did use wifi after the last Clubman session, I didn't get any footage of my Sprint sessions.

Re: Post you track videos here! QLD tracks.
Got a bit of help and the loan of a computer and finally got some videos uploaded.
Apologies that they are full sessions. I've put the lap times in the 'notes' so you should be able to track down the fastest laps if you want.
Still got some work to do on camera location and avoiding the bouncing passenger seat in the frame.
QR Clubman - 71.8349 seconds 01/08/18 (first time at QR)
QR Clubman - 01/08/16 session 3 - Trying to chase down CaptainNate (with clutch issues) for a couple of laps.
QR Sprint - 67.2373 seconds 01/08/16 (first time at QR)
Lakeside - New PB 69.3675 seconds 12/09/16 (fourth time at LP)
and then the spin in the very next session (all out of shape).
Almost been doing a year of club track days now.
Currently on Federal 595RS-RR 205/50/R15's
Everything else is pretty much stock, except the roll bar.
Thinking of some kind of CAI, and dreaming of the money for new suspension

Very cool, I think a harness would really help too.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
