Thanks for that. Only a few tenths between you me and Grant in the end, which was cool.

No worries. I was extremely happy getting into the low 67's and really enjoyed the day out. Last time I was on my stock 14" rims with street tread (72.45s) This time I was on the AD08R's and have installed an NB head, with an exhaust system to make it sound faster for my 67.32s.

Very slow start for me in the beginning. Almost pulled the pin after the first session, head not in the right space and not feeling 'comfortable' with the car.

However, in car timing says a best of 67.06, first few laps were about 75's. Thanks to the feedback from others on my lines and being way too late or early braking into The Karrassel as well as the wrong line through Eastern Loop. However the flag marshal at the top of Karrassel said the car looked very composed even when I had an off track moment following Steampunk in the last session.

Managed a 185 down the main straight and 155 under the bridge. I now have about 80 laps of Lakeside under the belt hopefully many more in 2016.

I felt the same Mark, never really got into a groove.
Felt like i was fighting the car.
Still managed some 63s, top speed 191kph in Straight, 163kph after the bridge

Need more than three track days a year to drive smoothly :frown:

Same MINX - felt fast but lap times did not relate - far from it :(

Seems quite a few were way off PB's

My G plot looks like a cross, I was either turning or going forward no trail braking. Still was eventually fun.

FZ201's are no longer road legal, well they have a couple of runs to the train station left in them. I have to change them before or after dodgy day lite as can't use anything bigger than a 12mm to undo bolts.

Another great club track day at Lakeside. Thanks Adam for organising the whole day event and to Doug and the QR team for efficiently running the day.
Here's my apprentice helping me put the road wheels back on.

Natsoft results don't work as links Mark, never do. I see somehow Eva has shown a 62 in the afternoon, obviously not quite accurate. Good to see I didn't get bumped out of the top 10 as people got faster in the afternoon. I also see mike jones' quickest of the afternoon was a 63.7, a full second slower than the 62.7 he recorded during the first session of the day when the timing was acting up. Nothing will convince him that he didn't do a 62.7 though, even though he never got anywhere near it again all day :p

Eva's 62 was a Doug fudge special purely to trick Sonke
So everyone moves up a spot
