The club welcomes non-MX5s and non-members.`Won't be a problem at all. I reckon this round will be pretty crowded, will have been 4 months since the last Lakeside club track day. Closer to 9 months for me, looking forward to it.

Would be great to see you Gromet89 and also the g/f in her MX5 - we have a few ladies running now and they help each other and love the friendly atmosphere, we even have three [3] ladies running Toyota 86's - you dont' have to be fast, the idea is to have fun!!

JUST 6 WEEKS TO GO :!:

Damn it's going fast!! My NB is in for service tomorrow, rear pads W3 Welmax to match the front, disc machine etc, then off to get 2 new Kuhmos as QR seems to have stuffed the rears!!

On a sidenote I was at Lakeside Saturday where Mike Jones [black 86] was with Josh Coote tesing during 'Time Attack' the MCA red coilovers and a few minor changes, running Hankook Z221's that started the day new and finsihed I'd say 'cactus'!!

Josh Coote from MCA drove it during the afternoon and for a naturally aspirated car his last run was a row of 1:01's, best being 1:01.22 that appears to be the fastest 86 around Lakeside. Well done also to Mike who managed a 1:04.4

It should be mentioned that whilst this is an MX5 forum, the MCA 'reds' have been chosen for the new 86 series being run with the V8 Supercars in 2016

New rears being fitted tomorrow morning, damn they haven't been easy to get this time! One Dealer quoted me a 6 week wait - thank to Craig at Hornibrook Motorsport in Geebung and also Storm at Option 1 Garage who directed me to Craig :wink:

Car has been serviced, new rotors and W3 Winmax pads fitted - should be a fun day! Pay entry fee and get CTP this week

My GSL supplied DBA rotors and Winmax pads go in tomorrow, so I'll be sorted for brakes come the 20th. One more thing crossed off the list. Will get the admin sorted this week.

What tyres aree you fitting Matty? I'm on the KUMHO KU36, the ones fitted today are marked as made March 2015, the previous set were fitted a year ago and marked 2011 - hmmmmm!!

Dunlop DZ102's - They'll do till I get a second set of wheels with real semis. ...which was meant to be before this track day, but getting the suspension done delayed that a wee bit.
