Better now than Monday - just check the radar and have a look at west of Wivenhoe/Somerset Dams :(

We're on a bit of an unofficial alert tonight - some of weather modeling showed potentially high winds and big rain overnight.

Not looking good for tonight Craig - the NB is washed and now over the road under cover thanks to my neighbours Doug & Helen - trouble with a double garage and three cars!

Modelling looks pretty good for Monday, maybe a few showers up my way but so long as they stay that way

Got Adams preliminary entry list. Going to be crowded, 14 cars in each of the 5 groups. Guess the 60 entry limit was gotten rid of.

Happy to see what appears tp be all that entered will get a run - to be FULL two weeks prior would never have been expected

I'm sure not everyone will run every time, quite a few will take a break, sure I will

The day will have an interesting ebb and flow. I can see a fair bit of shuffling between groups going on, too - can't see my mate's warmed over R33 GT-R living in group 5 for very long. There's possibly a few latecomers as well, so we may see a little pressure off early on and hopefully the afternoon shift will coincide with the all-dayers starting to opt in and out of the sessions.

14 per group will see leaders catch the back of the group very quickly, though, so patience will be the order of the day.

Car is checked and the dry weather tyres are on. Test flown serviceable. Just need to top up the fuel enroute to Lakeside.

Incidents aside, it was a great day. With 65 names on Natsoft, huge turnout and not as crowded on track as I expected. Maybe not as clear in some of the lower groups where paces were being discovered, but well done nonetheless.

Natsoft seems to be showing some of the dodgy times from the first sessions of group 1 and 2, times allocated to wrong names etc. Hope you've got paper timesheets Adam, because there are 2 or 3 sessions missing for many drivers in the online results. I fell 2 tenths short of my PB, and annoying less than a hundredth short of doing a 63; my best was a 64.00, but Natsoft only shows my 64.2 from a few sessions earlier, and only 15 laps total.

Here's a clip of me chasing Steven in the Boxster. Fun to chase him down in the braking zones, even if it did mean no quick laps that session. Had some fun chasing Stu in the SE and Liam in the Caterham too.
