Great photos Keith. Demonstrates there is more than just cars at a MX5CQ trackday. Thanks for posting.
There seem to be a lot of me, and I was in group 2!

Yeah Adam, you have the best lookin' car there. Those were later on, on the sportsman and national circuit I'd say, later on in the day, low orange light from a low sun angle. I didn't run the last two circuits (scared of the slippery track) so got the camera out instead.

Finally got my entry done online for 20 July and found the place to type your car number in. Thanks Adam and for those wondering, its in the 'preferred car' box at the bottom under the actual car you have entered
Great photos Keith! I have shared on my facebook - excellent work!!!

For those who might be interested, watching this video from around 70sec in shows the two lines people take through the dipper on the sprint circuit. In front of me is Peter, who takes the line most often used, although it is unquestionably slower because you lose so much momentum entering the middle straight. My line is slower on entry, but more than makes up for it on exit. I was not even on a hot lap as I knew I would be catching Peter, and did not even get flat on the throttle as early as I normally would have, for fear of getting too close behind Peter. Anyone using the common slow line can gain 3+ tenths by altering this line alone. Remember, slow in, fast out.

Cheers, Ross. I think I've got the dipper close to sorted, but that definitely underlined that I don't have the second 'flip flop' right - I seem to want to use the same solution for the second half of it that I use on Clubman i.e. approach from the left to make the straight longer, whereas the additional turns mean it's not faster, better to just go straight to the right hander. Something for next time.

I totally get what you mean. Monday was the first time I forced myself to ignore that little voice telling me to do that, and just plow through it and treat it as a 'twisty straight into a right turn' rather than an S-bend onto a straight. It found me a couple of tenths, I never would have expected to find so much time by just pushing through the complex. I guess minimising distance travelled outweighs the minor speed increase entering the straight.
