I feel very humble and old now thanks Liam...

Mark,
I appreciate you support Automotive Plus.
But calling their Track car 'Stock' is simply wrong and comparing it as a Stock car against times of other running on the day is unfair and incorrect.
That car may have 'stock' power levels from a normally aspirated engine(i dont know what exhaust /intake or whatever mods it may have) but it is certainly not a stock NB. That is disrespectful to Dannys team who have built that car to represent their business at club track days. Hell, with all their engineering and mechanical expertise, it would be disappointing if they didnt setup a car to perform at a high level.
I give credit to the two drivers where credit is due, however it did go home with more bent panels than straight ones, on a trailer.
I drove mine home with ac and stereo on, on street tyres, stopped for dinner and groceries at Sunnybank, and the car is ready to drive to work tomorrow. HP helps lug my hefty car and ass around the track at a reasonable pace, race cars is race cars.

PS for anyone looking, the Natsoft results for P3 are screwed up. Seems a mixed bag of Sportsman and National circuit.
I know I did that time with the showers starting on the national (1.32), and I doubt Liam did a 69, and Sonke a 1.14 on the National, since that is V8 Supercar times.

Great day though. Shame two cars went home damaged. Hope it doesnt put them off coming back.

I'll give Liam the keys to my road registered MX5 and see what he can do in it, a baseline that I will never achieve.

Reasonably happy with the times I ended up managing, although I'm absolutely certain there are a few tenths left in my Clubman time. It took until the third Clubman session for me to realise I was just being too ambitious into the dipper, and washing too much speed off through T2 as well. The one or two laps where I got them right, I failed elsewhere and lost the extra half second I could have found. Oh well. Good fun chasing Mike down in the 86 too :)

Ended up with 67.001 on clubman, and 63.543 on sprint. New pbs on both, by 4 tenths on clubman and 1.3 seconds on sprint. Difference between last time and this time is full stainless exhaust headers back, and switching from 595RSRs to Nitto NT01 semis. Liking the balance, a little loose but very nicely rotate-y.

I didn't see what happened, but I think you will find that that the P3 results are the way they are as part of the group decided on a simultaneous, shorter alternative track confiuration  This resulted in the session being abandoned!

A good day indeed with shades of light and dark for me. New PB on the clubman :D , couldn't get it together after that, had an interesting moment on turn 1, sideways is not a good idea there, musta been trying too hard, settled down after that to refocus on smooooth....

I've been to a couple of Lotus Club DTC at lakeside, good fun at the DTC centre there. I met Liam Philp there who drove his dad's Caterham super 7.

Liam did really well on Monday in his first time running sprints. Liam does own an NA but when his dad offered the Caterham the choice must have been easy for him. The NA would have been a better choice for the rainy drive home though.

Thanks Adam for all your work you put into organising this day.

I think you may be quoting the wrong car number for Graham. I was running #84 on my white NA at QR on 16/2. I am sure his times were much better than mine :)

Yes I did, sorry Bow! Too many white NA's and lack of sleep - sounds like a good excuse

Should have been #17
