Entry paid (full day), 2 x passenger laps booked, 4.3 diff has been installed, work still to be notified, MX5 Plus contacted to book the car in for a service on 27/06.

Target for the day is to do consistent times in the 1:07's and possibly a 1:06. Hopefully I will be able to do a PB before my partner has to go back to hospital, this should put a smile on her face (as well as mine).

Hey Guys,

The next event is Round 3 at QLD Raceway. These events have been booking out quickly, especially the morning sessions, so I thought I’d get this email out early for anyone who wants to secure their spot.

WEBSITE POINTS: We have been working on the new website to get the points up and sorted. Thanks for all the emails of guys reporting any issues they see. The Lakeside Round 2 points should be up in a few days, with all other issues sorted. Thanks again to Nathan for his hard work getting this site up and running in such a short timeframe.

QLD RACEWAY EVENT INFORMATION
Morning Session: Arrive 7:15am. On track from 8:15am till 12:30pm
Lunch Time: Sponsor Passenger rides – 12:30pm till 1:00pm Time Attack Sponsors only
Afternoon Session: Arrive 12:00pm. On track 1:00pm till 5:00pm

ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN
Please arrive at the track on time. If you are late you will miss scheduled check in and miss your first session on track.
Check In: Your car will be checked in at the front, and once your number has been put on your car you can enter the pits.
Pit Bays: Pit bays are allocated on the day. Do not drive in and park in a random pit bay. You will be asked to move.
Driver Briefing: Make sure you arrive on time so you can attend the briefing. You cannot race on the day until you have had a driver briefing.
License Purchase: If you need to purchase or renew your license, please do so from the office as soon as you park in your pits. This is the main bottle neck on the day.

Track Fees / Booking conditions
The number of drivers booked for the morning and afternoon sessions are capped. Only pre-paid places are secured. Unpaid places will not be held.
Half Track Day: Members Price: $150.00 or Non Members Price: $170.00
Full Track Day: Members Price: $280.00 or Non Members Price: $300.00
2014 Membership: $100 for the calendar year (1 Jan, 2014 to 31 Dec, 2014). See website for benefits. You must be a member to accumulate points.

CANCELLATION CONDIIONS
There is a $50 cancellation fee for half day and $100 for full day. The remainder of your payment will be refunded. You must cancel at least 3 days before the event to receive a refund.
The event will still proceed if it is raining, if you want the option to cancel an event at the last minute, or on the day, please see the membership option.

Passenger Rides – MEMBERS ONLY
QLD Raceway: $10.00 – Limited to the first 5 paid.
Lakeside: $10.00 – Limited to the first 5 paid.

Timing
To get timing you need a beacon. You can rent it on the day for $20 or buy for $95 from the race track office.

General
AASA License. You need an AASA license to race at either Lakeside or QR. This is with the racetrack and not Time Attack. You can purchase one on the day. $55 for the year, $25 for the day.

Lakeside does run a strict noise restriction policy. If you break the noise limit you will be parked by their staff. If you have any doubts please sort out in advance as you will not be refunded if your car is too loud.
