Yep he did, asleep before the first set of traffic lights, woke up when arrived at McDonalds at Coomera :) Likewise it was good to catch up as well.

Many thanks to Ross from www.trackphotos.com.au for the photos he took this morning. Unfortunately he had family business this afternoon and had to leave

The quality of his work can be seen on the following link and feel free to place orders. Ross is a professional motor sport photographer and not only that, he also drives an NB MX5

I only just came back to the computer after starting those uploading and you had already linked them :p I finally have internet after moving house, purely because I'm not staying at my house for the next 10 days. I won't have to run back and forth from my house to friends/family to mooch their internet.

Definitely planning on getting on track at the next one, 2 months to get a service done and find some money... Should be sweet :)

Not wrong TK - It takes both Officials and the entrants to make a great day and I can't say I saw ONE person who didn't look like they weren't having fun!!

After Doug's talk at Driver Briefing, great to see 50+ starters complete the day with not ONE incident! Sure a few spins but that's the 'norm'!

Looking down the list on 'Natsoft' I don't think I have ever seen so many going sub 1:06!!

Looking forward to the next one at QR

What a great day. I had no intention of going, but after prepping the car for my dad to use, I decided to take the day off & go up and give him a hand. He'd not done a proper timed day at Lakeside before, but I'd timed him on the stopwatch at about 1.08 in the past. Yesterday in the last session he went 1.05.02. He was stoked. The car did 54 laps and ran well except for cutting out a couple of times (hence me walking around asking everyone if they had any electrical connection cleaner). Ended up getting some carbie cleaner from the boys at the tower and sprayed the plug for the cam angle sensor. Problem solved.

Gary will be at all of the track days this year in the car.

Cal, what car number/description was this.
I do the club scoring and no one on the list had PB of 1.05.02 listed on official timing.

Car number 144. I jumped in the car at one point to check a problem and posted the 1.03.33. Please disregard this from any scoring results for Gary. His fastest was definitely a 1.05.02.

PS thanks Mark for organising.

Great to see you and Gary there Cal, such a fantastic day and well worth it along with the support of the 'Other Makes - it's thanks to their attendance and the subsequent injection of extra $$$$ that enables us now to have the occasional FULL DAY!!! Great also to see the 'Pot Hole' car there, I'm sure he had a lot of fun as well!!
