Mt Cotton Hillclimb 25 &26th August

Postby adidistyle » Sat Sep 08, 2012 11:44 pm

If you are interested, I have posted up a few pics in the spotted topic here: http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=38763&p=687338#p687338

It was a pretty good turn up seven MX5s at this event. Nigel (topper) absolutely blitzed the rest of us, in what is claimed to be the fastest ever time by an MX5 of an persuasion. 49.67s. If anyone knows better, let us know.

Grant got three PBs on his first outing, and gave Jeff a bit of a hurry up, even though he is in a different class. The sound of these two cars never fails to impress the commentators.

All-in-all, a really good weekend. Perfect weather, friendly competition and no serious bingles.

It was a great day.

Think it was smart on my part to pack the car up after my last run. Fine line there between been fast and putting it into the wall.

Grant and Geoffs cars sounded balls.

Adam you had a great run into the 53s is bloody quick. I'm sure with the same tires you would be running the same times as me

Would be nice to have some more mx5s next time. Great day with a bunch of great people.
