14 sounds like not many. What do they usually get?
I'm aiming for Round 4. I need to get my licence first.

16 entries now. I was hoping to get a minimum of 15 per round so we are tracking ok. I expect more for round 4 in five weeks as it is a better track for our cars.
Don't forget you will also need a vehicle passport for your car. Is the roll bar cams approved? The car will also need an electrical kill switch.

Yes I really like Wakefield. I've only dríven there and SMSP North, except in the 70's at Oran, Amaroo, Catalina parks and Adelaide Int'.
Te roll bar is welded in, built by Deckspeed and CAMS approved. I will get the killswitch fitted and CAMS logbook.

Hi nuddy, just check the cams log book requirements as there is more required than their is for the AASA log book such as tail shaft strap and 2lt oil catch can. You will need a cams log book for super sprints and other cams events.

For NSW Supersprints a CAMS logbook is good to have, but not needed for a road registered car.

I have done 1CAMS NSW supersprint and 2 CAMS CSCA supersprints with road registered and no logbook but I think a CAMS logbook is a good idea so I will go that way.

If a car has only a AASA passport can it race at SMSP?

Depends what organisation the event is run under.

if AASA - check with the organisers, obviously will accept AASA passport and sometimes CAMS logbooks although it is a contentious issue. For instance, CAMS won't allow notes to be made in a CAMS logbook at AASA events as, strictly speaking, CAMS "own" the logbook, not the car owner.

if CAMS - only CAMS logbook is acceptable.

End of the day, best bet is to check with the organisers.

17 entries for round 3 on Saturday. This event at smsp is run under aasa so a vehicle passport is acceptable for this event.

Well done at round 3 Todd. Three race wins and a fastest MX5 lap of the day 1:08.864 in Race 1. There were only 2 laps marginally quicker over the whole day across any category. The winner of race 1 in the super TT's recorded one faster lap (-0.29) and the winner of race 3 for the Superkarts (-0.06). You also recorded the quickest wet / damp lap of the day of any of the category. Great work.

Congratulations to the class and trophy race winners.

Class A Todd Herring
Class B Cameron Macarthur
Class C Matilda Mravicic
Class D Stuart McFadyen
Class E Kerry Smith

Trophy Race
1st Todd Herring
2nd Verne Johnson
3rd Ian Caldwell

Off to Wakefield in 4 weeks for round 4. A track better suited to the MX5's after our first round at the turbo friendly north circuit.
