Rd 6 is this weekend, and we have a lot of work to do in Rds 6 & 7 to peg back ARDC. We NEED a good rollup of entrants for both events if we are to do the job.

BTW, I notice that the "entries open" date is 22/8, so about 2 weeks ago!!!

Entered for round 7 as well. Now just need a Cams Logbook.

That's about when I sent my email (25th actually). Somebody tell me if you didn't get it, and I will resend it to all on my list (I don't want to hassle people unnecessarily).

OK, way to go MX5 Club!!!!

After yesterday, with one round to go, we have one hand on the 2016 Club Championship, having overtaken ARDC and now leading them by 22 points.

To put that in perspective, that is less than 1% of our total, or the points from one competitor's 4th in class. We can still lose to ARDC, so it would be very premature to start celebrating.

We now need to finish the job, and to do that we need a good rollup at Rd 7. If you haven't entered yet, please don't delay, you don't want to be on a waiting list, the Club doesn't want you on a waiting list as there are no points awarded for that.

Unfortunately, due to an event scheduling clash, some of our regulars are competing in the 10 Hour event at Winton. This will make it harder to retain the Championship we have held for the last two years, but the rest of us will give it our best shot!

The commitment of some of our registrants is remarkable - after attending a Saturday evening family event, one is travelling 100+kms on Sunday morning to South Circuit, doing one or two sessions, then packing up and doing another long journey to another function! Followed by another long journey home!

Hand up. That'll be me. Fiona thinks I'm nuts.

I'm one of the regulars who will be at Winton. It is a shame, as not only I'd like to help the club win, but also I had a good shot at finishing 2nd in the championship for class 2B. If only I could do like Bryan and come back to Sydney for at least one session...
