Re: Round 1 Supersprint Enties Open
I find the response that I got from the ARDC very concerning.
Considering I sent my entry in at 5:45am on Saturday morning and entry forms only came out at 11PM on Friday I would expect the response to be that you are accepted, not that we will be in touch. Sounds like they are reviewing entries???

Hi Luke,
Thank you for your entry. We will be in touch with you shortly regarding your acceptance.

Re: Round 1 Supersprint Enties Open
I just spoke to ARDC and this is their reply.
We just need to confirm that you are a registered competitor for the NSW championship first as entries are only open to them at the moment. We will contact you if there are any problems.
So that makes more sense.

Re: Round 1 Supersprint Enties Open
If a round of the State Championship registrants should receive two weeks preference in advance of normal entries. (Guidelines, on the website)
For anyone else who is new, it is important to get your entry in within this period, as you will be competing for a place with non-registered entries after that time. With 200-odd registrants, it doesn't take too much imagination to realise that we only need 50% (less in some cases) to fill an event, and even the organising club's members who are not registered will be struggling to get accepted.
The take away message is, get your entry in quickly, and within the 'registrants first' period.
For anyone reading this, and thinking about registering - sorry, registrations for the series have closed because oversubscribed. You can still lodge an entry and compete in events that are rounds of the Championship (subject to getting an entry accepted, see above), but can't compete in the Championship itself.

I entered by email at 10 this morning and got a confirmation a couple of hours later that she'd received the entry but no comment yet on whether the entry is accepted or not.

Re: Round 1 Supersprint Enties Open
Speaking from past experience, it's a good idea to make payment via direct deposit when you enter. That way they have a priority date on your payment just in case your entry form goes missing. ARDC will then contact you if they have your payment but no form, provided you have done events with them previously. It happens.

My credit card was swiped 2 weeks ago but I still have no other confirmation I am in the event, much less who else might be!
