Has anyone heard about the proposed track to be built near toowoomba

Just the rumors and the snippet on Nine news the other night...
I'll tell you now I won't mind spending more time at the In Laws if it does go ahead!

Wagners are building an airport in Toowoomba so maybe a racetrack is possible.
Wagners are quite big in Toowoomba and surrounding areas made their money in quarry supplies and batching concrete.

If Wagner's want it they will get it
$83m for a rail overpass on Telegraph Road north of Brisbane and Wagners can build a FULL airport to International standards for $200m - I can't get my head around that even though Wagners used their own resources

I heard they've called the Toowoomba airport "Brisbane West". Wow, why not rename Auckland airport "Brisbane East".

Yeah, a little cheeky, but anything that puts pressure on the current BA operators is a good thing.

No different to the way Europe is. You have to be quite careful which airport you fly into tourist destinations through. Particularly with cut price carriers.
