Haven't seen a thread for Mondays track day yet so I thought I would start one for anyone to Chuck up photos of the day and to have a brag.

i for one had a awesome day, was absolutely knackered by lunch time and only lasted another couple of runs. had far too many off track adventures but was able to smash my PB so I am stoked with that.

I had a great tussle with Ralph, separated by .01 last time I looked..car was 2.5 seconds quicker on Michelin slicks compared with Bridgestone RE555S semi slicks on the NULON day..

No, this is the right area for club motorsport events.

Great day run by Mike and David. I had 8 runs and some of them were 6 or 7 laps, making this the busiest track day I've ever had since moving to NSW. Huge congratulations to all the organisers and officials, especially since they were backing up after running the CAMS Supersprint round the day before. Pretty good performance by all the drivers too: I can't recall a single recovery operation on the day - not even for the turbo crew. :D

Agree that both days were fabulous. Flagged on Sunday, drove on Monday.
First time on Federal RSR R Specs and new AEM air intake, cut 3.6 secs off my time, very chuffed, still on a high.
2 sec for the tyres, 1 sec for the AEM, .6 sec for the driving improvement. :)
Had an extra 20kmh at turn 1 !!
Plenty of improvement to come from the driver.
Roll on December 7th.

another excellent club day, thanks to all involved

good conditions in the morning and i was very happy to take 0.9 off my best. Really enjoyed chasing Todd when he had no tyres or brakes, couldn't keep up when he fixed both

was anyone taking photos?

I reset my tripmeter at the start of the day and it had 115km on it at the end. Went through a full tank of fuel too. I can't recall a previous club track day where we had more track time!

Does anyone have pictures from the track day I can use with a track report for the club web site and magazine please?

New PB video. 1:15.46 in my stock 10AE with Dunlop Star Specs. I was chasing down John's modified NB8B. This was only the second lap of the day and I couldn't quite improve it over the next seven runs.

What are you using for the data on your video, Brian?

I have a Performance Box for the live laptiming and datalogging. You can get equivalent results with Racechrono, an old Nokia phone, and a 10Hz GPS receiver. Then I use Dashware to overlay the data onto the GoPro video.
