The Mx5 club of NSW is organising a Drive to Bathurst for the 12 hour race. Joe Kovacic is the organiser from the club.

There will be HQs Radicals and Improved Production racing on the Saturday, along with 12 Hour practice sessions.

If we can get 10 or more club cars for the Saturday we can do a parade lap around the track at 1pm Saturday.

The 12 hour race is impressive, impressive field of cars with local and international drivers and teams. You have full access around behind the pits too so can get close to the action, and on top of the building for the start.

The 12-hour is a great event. The highlights for my wife and I at the Feb 2013 event were:
- parking as a group to display our cars just behind the main grandstand
- great vantage points at various spots around the track
- access to the pits behind the team garages, and watching them at work from only 2 metres away
- the Saturday lunchtime parade lap of the track, and
- evening social get togethers with the rest of the MX-5 cub crew.

We have booked accommodation and are looking forward to the 12-hour in Feb 2014.

The entry list has been published. Lambos, Audi R8s, Ferraris, with Seats and Bambino 500s.

would love to do it this year, but the car not finished yet, but 2015 i'm in

They sounded awesome at last year's race. I would go back just to hear them again! :-)

Yep Erebus are running 2 again with another one from a German team so 3 all up I think.
