OK who's up for it? The MX-5 Club of NSW is hosting the annual double-header at Wakefield Park on 3rd/4th June.

Sunday 3rd June will be the CAMS Supersprint Round 3 hosted by the MX-5 Club. Timing will be via Dorian which will be available for hire ($15), and a CAMS L2S licence is required (rather than the AASA Wakefield licence).

Monday 4th June 2012 will be our next club trackday which will count towards the club's 2011/12 motorsport championship. This is the penultimate round of the season. The final round will be at Phillip Island for the NSW/VIC Interstate Challenge on 30th June.

Just for an idea, what's the usual roll-up for an MX5 NSW track day? Interesting to compare as ours are also Mondays

In 2011, the NSW club trackdays averaged about 76 drivers and the lowest attendance was about 69. Most of these were on Sundays, but we still get very close to the cap of 80 drivers at our Monday trackdays. (more info here)

Thought long and hard about it but can't really justify the cost of both days. Will be coming along to the Monday.

Track days for MX5 Club Queensland - we run Lakeside Park and Queensland Raceway, next meet is Round 3 of the Club Championship next Monday at QR

This year six rounds, 4 at Lakeside and 2 at QR

This next one we will be running the new timing transponders, accurate they claim to 1/10000th of a second! Details of them are also on Queensland Motor Sport link under the topic 'Track Day QR 21 May' or something similar to that

As of last Monday we had 34 paid up entrants, so augers for maybe 40-45 at least on the day

I'm on for the Supersprint on Sunday.
Trying to wangle a day off to do the Monday.
I'd be hoping for a PB after 2 days in a row if I can make the Monday

I will see if I can organize to come up one day with tureo and Brendan.

Pretty sure Denni and I will be flagging or something else on the Sunday. No can do Monday we are saving our leave for PI.

Have just put an entry in for Sunday as well, after getting an email from co-ordinator saying numbers are slow coming in.

Have new front brake pads and a new set of R888s for the weekend.

I want to go but not sure if my car will be able... I just removed the flywheel/race clutch combo I had in it for balancing on the new engine... Car is going back together with the stock clutch/flywheel combo next weekend when I'm hopefully healthy again but that clutch was starting to slip... waiting to see if Andrews going so I can possibly dual enter.

I'd love to go but doing Brass Monkey Run on 3rd, and my driving's crap anyway, I can't heel/toe properly and my cars aren't ready, they are sort of 1/2 way in between what I want them to be in terms of tyres/suspension etc.

So maybe next meet, though it will be pretty cold at WP.
