She will be stoked you like them!!

I would really appreciate that mate.
This is pretty much the exact picture I wanted, the car looks almost decent from that angle hahaha.
I just need to adjust the bonnet and/or lights so they line up a bit better, then I could nearly say it looks good (as long as you ignore the wheels).

That was brilliant. I'd previously done two days at Marulan but this was on a whole other level. Track days are one third of the reason I bought my MX5 and it has excelled my expectations on every occasion.

Thanks also for those that have posted photos online as I got some great shots of myself from your albums - I was driving number 8 in the beginners group 7.

Do the times get posted online ? I forgot to check the times for my last run before I left. I have timing off a track app but wanted to see my official result from the club.

I look forward to many more track days like this.

You will. Its triple the power. Triple. And I'm certain you underestimate how usable and broad spread it is.

My wife and I had a fantastic time for our first time at Wakefield! (and the SE didn't break down!! :P though it did get hot)
My best time was 1.16.25 which I was shocked by, I was only aiming to crack 1.20.0 before the day started.
By run's 3 and 4 I was getting pretty consistent mid/high 16's and feeling really smooth.

Round 5 I was extremely low on fuel so just went out for a few laps. Got sent out in a group with some race cars and my enthusiasm got the better of me trying to keep up, got a bit sloppy and ended up spinning out.

Not my finest moment:

David's race car is loud! Can't even her my own over it

Thats a great first up time Josh, well done.
Now you need good tyres, Advans, Direzza's or R specs :D

Your mate James had a great day too, beat me by .01 secs, in my own car !!!!!!
(the (stock) Titanium SE)
Another great track day, so well organised and run as always.
Thanks to everyone.

Congrats, that is a great result. Maybe those Marulan driver training days are providing a good starting point?
I see that Mrs Roadrunner did ok too, even beat her sister by 0.6 :-)

It may not be fast, but it sure sounds like it should be!
That was my son Andrew driving. His first run in that car after he broke the Skyline in the previous run :-|
(not his fault, wheel bearing failure)

Yes definitely need better tyres, the ku31's were way out of their comfort zone, but cheap and good to learn on I suppose.
James was ecstatic with his time and said he beat yours by .01 seconds! I warned him he may not be lent the car anymore

The Marulan driver training days definitely helped! I think I would have been packing it on the dummy grid if I hadn't done Marulan before going out at Wakefield!

Mrs Roadrunner and her sister did very well and want to go back for more! I can see that sisterly rivalry costing a lot of money in modifications and upgrades lol

that is a pretty good time first day out on street tyres, give 3rd gear a try at turn 10

Your car certainly looks the part, I am partial to a red SE with gold/bronze wheels

Thanks, will try that next time. Felt like a second gear corner but just couldn't get the power to the ground coming out of it.

2 Laps of the Gods.

https://youtu.be/eHMj3dOZ0W4

This broke the club track record for a standard NB8B by about 0.2 seconds and my PB by almost 1 second.
What a great day.

Well done and thank you to all the organisers.
